FINE ART DIGITAL PRINTMAKING (Giclée)

I specialise in digital capture from original artwork and making prints of the highest possible quality at very competative rates. The latest Large Format professional ink jet printers are used. They employ inks that do not fade for 100 years in the case of the Epson printer and 200 years for the HP printer. A selection of the finest water colour and photographic papers are used and I am open to working with other 'media' when requested. Rigorous colour management practises are implemented with the aid of various hardware and software devices. Included is an Eizo ColourEdge211 monitor, a proffessional desktop viewer (Graphiclite), Gretag-Macbeth calibration devices and Profile Maker and the Adobe Creative Suite -CS3.

As well as producing a faithful reproduction of an original artwork, I am also very happy to work with an artist to develop and enhance an image. I am a painter myself and this is a great advantage in understanding artists needs and wishes.

SETUP CHARGES- From a client's digital file - discussed before commencement. If no work is required then no setup charge.

PAPERS - A variety of the finest papers are available including Hahnamuhle and Innova watercolour papers. Special requests are welcome.
